Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nitrates inspection

    Has anyone of ye any experience of a nitrates inspection? i was wondering how do they calculate area for soiled water.is it only concrete area thats measured and does gravel area be included if its for example arond cattle crush.

    There is paperwork to be filled out but I got my teagasc advisor out to do that work.

    They even measure the insides of cattle sheds whether it has a slatted tank or not.

    as far as i know gravel area not measured but must be kept clean and any concrete area that is kept clean and a proper soak area no worries if in reps cattle numbers might need to be ammended and gutters and down pipes are in order
