really old uk bank account

I have 2 old bank accounts 1 in Royal bank of scotland and the other in the bank of scotland, I haven't used either in over 10 years but I have the details of them. My question is does anyone know could I get one of them re-activated to stash my savings, in sterling.

Couldn't see that being a problem as long as you still have the details.

I would check with the bank concerned that the account is still open and valid before you do any transfers:)
