Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where to get Filters for Broadband

I have 4 sky boxes with my multiroom and they are all connected to the phone line and I don't have enough filters and they are interfering with my broadband signal, making it quite slow really.

Where can I buy more and is there a specific type I should be looking for?

    Thanks

    Loopy

The last time I got a DSL filter, I got it in the hardware section of Tesco's. AFASIK, you can get them in most electrical stores.

    They look like:-

Maybe ring Eircom and see if they will send you some?

Thanks Paulft, I will have a look in the local Electric shop.

I would be fearful of ringing Eircom even if I was still with them as the last time I rang them up, they were dire, woeful customer service.

I'm with Vodafone at the moment, might send them an email and see what they say.

You might like to try an active filter:

A little more expensive than ordinary ones but the filter characteristics are better and should optimise your connection speed.

Where are you located. I have a few of these to spare that you are welcome to. I live off the N7 not to far from City West.
