Farmer looking to rent land for sheep, no idea what € to ask for.

    We've six acres, used to keep a horse or two but haven't had any the last year. Local farmer wants to put a few sheep on the land, about 15 he said. Land wouldn't be the best, Wicklow foothills.

    Any ideas, for a calendar year? We won't be doing anything with it for at least that long.

    depends, what are fences like,acces to water? do you colledt sfp on it?
    if lands not the best, bout €70/acre id reckon, with out sfp....

    Fencing is fine, he won't have to do anything with that. There is water and troughs, but he wants to put in a larger, lower one, ours are too high for the sheep he reckons. We don't collect sfp.
    Anyway, 70 or so sounds fair. Thanks for the input.
