try ami madden of clever canines in tuam
    http://www.clevercanines.ie/Classes.html

or Tara at West dog training
    http://galway.info/business-directory.html?sobi2Task=sobi2Details&catid=71&sobi2Id=364

We're bringing our pup to her classes at the moment. She is quailified (which not many "dog trainers" in this country can say!) and has many many years of experience. She uses positive reinforcements so both you and your dog can get the best out of your training. She is very forward thinking and progressive.

    Best of luck!:)

I recommend Sarah Brown from Canine Manners:

She fosters for EGAR and we are on the same wavelength when it comes to dog training. Am not too fond of one of the ones mentioned above.

Can you PM me please EGAR? I am going to go to Canine Manners for training but she doesn't do socialising classes.

    Thanks.

I only have personal experience of dealing with west dog training and couldn't reccommend Tara highly enough

Thanks for the replies so far, East Galway would be the best for us.

I rang Dogology in Ballina today and left a voicemail but didnt get a call back. Anyone have any experience of them?

Hi guys, wanted to give some feedback, we met with Dogology on Saturday after it was recommended by our vet. We decided on studio training over a home visit as it was mostly socialization stuff we needed to work on. Elisha in Dogology was brilliant to work with we could see her love for dogs and her work everything was done via positive training. And everything went smoothly little did we know but our little man is very intelligent (",) when our time was up we were sent on our merry way with our clicker and a great work sheet of stuff to do before we next meet...

I started a thread on something similar but got no replies.

I'm looking for classes around the Roscommon area. Galway & Ballina are prob a bit far but if I can't find anything around Ros I'll have to consider them.

    Any help appreciated.
