Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    On live here

MAd break away, would have been some finish if there were two or three though it would be some achivement if he pulled it off and took the stage, 13 min ahead great break or bad burn...

    edit
Oh, 80+km left, the graphics showed 50km...

Alejet beats Cav in the sprint but will it be overturned for pettachi 'ahem' using the whole road in the sprint?

    Cav in pink.

Petacchi wins the bunch sprint but Cav isn't a happy bunny at all.
Petacchi moved across onto Cav's line and kind of blocked him, but I can't see the organisers changing the result! :pac:

exactly. Cav may live in Italy but Alejet is Italian and they aint gonna disqualify an Italian winner.

I don't think it'll be turned over, espacially with Cav pulling on the pink...

Cav was angry because of things like the below - he changes his line and gets penalised, and protested about. Petacchi does it, and no consequences.

Admittedly, in this case, there was a significant pile-up, but you get the gist. Changing your line in a sprint keeps your opponent from properly contesting it.

"For me I felt hard done by because for the same movement I would be disqualified.” here
A little hard done by but then thats sprinting and a winnining Italian was never going to be disqualified (unless he brought half the bunch down)

Not bad for 37 and Petacchi was super smooth. Looks like Cav is getting back to form

must admit petachi completly cuts up cav at 150m to go, rides right across the front of him

but hey we are in italy :D

I think Cav had Petacchi on toast but for the weaving.

When in Rome Parma - I doubt he knows the Italian for 'Hold your line!' but that was some quality Italian style protestation from Cav though. Really speaking with his hands there.
