When cashing at the wsop the tournament staff will help with applying for an individual tax identification number so that no tax is taken on the winnings for irish citizens.

is there a period of time when the 30% withholding tax is applied and you have to apply for taxback or do you get your total winnings straight away?

is it possible to apply for an individual tax identification number before going to vegas?

how is payment received with a wsop cash? For a sizable cash can the player request a cheque that can be cashed in an irish bank?

what is the minimum amount of cash that must be declared travelling from the us to ireland?

    thanks.

Ask for an ITIN in the casino you're staying in when you get there. You'll get the lot once you have the ITIN. They'll be happy to give you chips, cash or cheque. You will be asked to declare $10k+ going over and coming back.

I have been saving up the positive variance by losing my last hundred flips. you have to plan these things in advance.
