    Hello All,

Does anybody know any nice game to be played around codes and cyphers for Scouts?

I would like to steer away from the obvious like 'only' decoding a secret message. It would be much more interesting and fun for the Scouts to be playing some sort of game or challenge using any of these skills.

    Any idea is welcome!

    Many thanks,

    Edwin

Well for an outdoor game there's always tracking which is covered in most scouting books. We split our scouts into their patrols, each patrol lays out a track with sticks and stones that leads somewhere and the other patrols follow it.

I really think of any indoor coding games bar the obvious of breaking a code of a secret message or playing the likes of hangman.
