Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i have a 06 t5 with 140000km that i was thinking of converting to a camper. i'd like to get it done professionally and was wondering if there are many places in Ireland that do it. i searched a bit but could only find greendog conversions which i thought were a bit expensive.

any other advice would be great. we already have a 07 compass avantgarde but its a bit of a luxury to have it sitting there so often and not being used. we thought we might sell it and convert my van so i can still use it as my everyday driver and use it as a camper at weekends. we have a big tent awning aswell as we have two young kids so that would increse the living space a bit.

    cheers
    P

I think cosy classics do T5's as well. No idea on their prices, they seem steep enough for the T2's. Some places only seem to do short wheel base vans too.

Might not be on your list but I'd think the pop top would be the main expense, and the rib seats (if you want a fully crash tested seat/bed). You can get cheap enough high tops in the UK (on ebay!), but they'd be quite limiting as a daily driver imo.
