Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advice on new home PC...

    Hey guys and gals!

Just looking for a bit of advice on buying a new home, office/entertainment PC.
Nothing over the top, but I want a decent system that wont have to be changed in a year or two!
Only using it for movies, internet and music, with some office work.
I'd be looking for a blu-ray player, 20 inch + monitor, 3-4 GB Ram and 320 - 500GB hard drive! Anything over is a bonus really.
Undecided on a processor, whether its a Dual Core or a new i3 or i5...Advice please?
Budget of as little as possible to 600 or a little over!
I've been looking at a few of the bigger stores websites and they seem to have pretty good deals, Compared to the likes of Dell that seem to charge extra for every little thing! "Yes you can buy this but we recommend you change to this"..is that all sh1t??

But anyway I'm open to persuasion been as I haven't bought a computer in 4 years!

    Thanks in advance!

You'd be lucky to get that much from Dell and the likes with that kind of budget, to be honest you'd be better either building your own or getting one of the lads over in the PC building forum to put the pieces together for you.
They're a friendly bunch, so you might as well create a post over there and see what kind of build you could get for your wonga.

I also echo the build option but if that doesnt float the boat go for something like this:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/254498 395GBP = 450euro appx

    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/196524 - 102GBP = 120euro appx

    570euro
