Part of me agrees, but there's always the fear that if someone sang songs like that they'd murder them. On the other hand, if they do well then it'll inspire others to come along and murder them!

A few years ago, Ruth Lorenzo sang a great version of "Purple Rain". But then the last year and the year before had contestants doing shít versions of it. That's the problem with these shows; certain songs can just be ruined.
