It's not Janet I've lost respect for, it's the show. Using such a sensitive, tragic event, a decision that probably nearly killed the girl, to fill newspaper columns.

Oh, I do agree with you here! I think that's completely insensitive.

    To be fair,

    * The show, it makers didn't know the man was going to die. The show is what it is, you either know it, accept it or turn it off.
    * The papers will always write something anyway. The show has not a lot of say most of the time about what they write.
    * The decision was probably taken with consultations between Janet and her family alone. Nobody in the show legally could force them to stay or go.

I'm sorry to read stories like that about Misha. I hope it's not true but stories like that have to have some basis. I think she's an absolutely amazing singer but, as I predicted, the public aren't warming to her. She's very confident, which I think isn't a bad thing, but it's just coming across as utter cockiness.

Kinda what happened with Rachel a few years back. There's always one!

I agree. Didn't Cher Llyod have a close member die during the show? (or maybe not)

Janet is a one trick pony. People think great at the start and then it just gets monotonous after a while.

Sophie has a great voice but where's her personality??

Hey look it. I agree with you. I know what the show it's like. It just pisses me off when this happens. I think Paige suffered a family loss last year as well.

I guess I'll have to wait till tonight before I can make any more comment on how the producers will deal with it. I just hope it won't go the way I think it will. :(

But she has an insanely high hairline, she's moved into combover territory.

I think the slatting Janet for singing tonight is really unfair. If she was my child i'd tell her to go ahead and perform. She'd has 17 years with her granddad and im sure he was thrilled to have seen her gone as far as she has. Its what he would have wanted.

Oh and im not a Janet fan btw. but jesus give the girl a break

They let diana vickers skip a week just cos she was sick, surely they'd let janet do that so she could go to her grandad's funeral ?

Pretty weak song list tonight, imo.
Craig Colton - Best Thing I Ever Had
Johnny Robinson - Can't Get You Out Of My Head
Janet Devlin - I Can't Help Falling In Love With You
    Rhythmix - I'm Like A Bird
Kitty Brucknell - It's Oh So Quiet
Sami Brookes - I Will Always Love You
The Risk - Just The Way You Are
    Marcus Collins - Russian Roulette
    Frankie Cocozza - The Scientist
Nu Vibe - With Or Without You
Misha B - Would I Lie To You
Sophie Habibis - Wherever You Will Go

It looks like Craig will always be given female artists songs

I say prepare for quite a lot of song butchering tonight

Aye, she looks ridiculous. I at least have a beard so it longs like it's causing my face to look long.

    Sami's is...ambitious.

Kitty is going to be horrendous.

Can't wait to see Frankie make a balls of his.

Hope they rattle Misha B like they did with Danyl Johnson a couple of years ago, put her back in her place.

I reckon Kitty is mental dramatic enough to pull that off! :)
