delighted he is gone, it will give the people who can sing a proper chance as he wasn't even entertaining

Me on Sunday before the results.
Does anyone else think if Frankie once again gets through to next week by the judges, he will reveal the big shock moment of the series and drop out?

    I wasn't too far off.

Barlow has to take some responsibility for pimping a talentless crass individual on a family show whose target audience of voters (i.e. those that pay Barlow's wages) are 10 to 15 yr old girls.

He never had an oz of talent to get to boot camp. The show has become tired and lazy and a bit like a dying wasp.

    I'd say Louis is delighted!

It will be one of Garry's acts that will come back and I think it is going to be this guy.

    James Michael

Or do you think he will go and pick one of his "judges house" contestants?

There's not a chance they'll bring James or anyone else in.

    Simon Cowell, like every year.

    Why not?

They are effectively -1 at this stage. Either they will allow Garry to bring back one of his acts... (why should he be punished? He had 3 acts left.)
Or one of the people who went last week will be brought back.

They should bring back The Risk and have Johnny as their new lead singer :D

I reckon it's way too late in the series for anyone to be brought back in.

Sure remember back in 2008/9 when the 15 year old girl, Emily I think her name was, had to drop out after the first week of live shows when the video of her in happy slapping incident was released. No-one replaced her then as far as I remember.

There will probably be a week with no eliminations so

Even for Johnny who would effectively just miss one week? They might even get him to participate in this weekends show.

    Nah.. I don't think that's possible.

Cowell knows the weekend shows builds up solely to that.

Because it would be extremely unfair to all the acts that have been eliminated since the live shows started. It doesn't matter that Gary's being "punished"...the show is supposed to be about the acts, not the judges. The absolutely only fair way of doing it is to bring back the person who would have stayed in if Frankie had been eliminated this week, and that person is Johnny.

the only one they could genuinely bring back is the last one out ...johnny

I said that in my post also.

I said it will either be another one of Garry's acts or an act that went last week.

Nah can't see them bringing anyone back, they'll just have 2 in the final or have no eliminations one week. dammit it I should have put money on my prediction. :D

there'll be those angry that their votes don't count.

    fúck them.

if Frankie-voters are too fúcking stupid to boot that arrogant prat off, then i'm delighted Frankie has done it through his own stupidity.

people who voted to keep the twat in do not have the intelligence to have disposable income to spend. they don't deserve it back. anyone who thought his inclusion was entertaining is probably a twat themselves.

    Jedward was different.
as was Wagner (who i didn't like, even though i got why people did).

Frankie was just a teenager, who thought he was all-that, was an absolute prick by all accounts, and genuinely just did not give a toss, even though he was being given an opportunity that millions of youngsters, and older obviously, around the UK & Ireland would give their right testicle or ovary for.

the sad thing is though, unless he gets help, he's in for quite the come-down, and i hope it doesn't dive into a life of excess where he just destroys everything before him. unfortunately, if he's not caught hold of, that is a very distinct possibility.

Why would anyone be worried about Gary being 'punished'??? He's getting well paid for this show regardless of the outcome and he's the idiot that put Frankie through to the live shows when there were clearly more talented people out there. He also defended his lack of ability to sing and his general poor behavior every week. If anything Gary deserves to be punished for inflicting Frankie on us.
    Howjoe1 wrote: »

They won't bring Johnny back and if they did offer him the spot, he should have the good sense to decline. He was in the bottom three last week and got the boot, it's unlikely that would change this week and he would get the boot again. Who wants to be eliminated from a show two weeks running? When he's getting less votes than Frankie that should be enough to tell him his time is up. A second elimination is just unnecessary humiliation.

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 13,425 ✭✭✭✭Ginny

In fairness why worry about Gary, he put Frankie through knowing full well he was an arse and couldn't sing. Gary then admitted he lied on the show, and continued to lie every week about his performance.

I wonder will we see a re-editing of the M&S advert?

  • Registered Users Posts: 86,392 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

I'm sure Frankie is getting a nice pay packet from Simon and Co. to walk away and keep quite

As said before I expect him (in the jungle for I'm A Celeb) or even his family on their own reality show

Did he feature much in it? I couldn't bring myself to watch the ad when it came on.

Only a small part singing - but would they want to be seen associated now with a drug user?
I would say they are considering it at least - and not impressed that they are in this situation and/or with the show makers/Cowell possibly.

Apparently these are the Golden Rules, and Frankie appears to have been given the boot because he bragged about drug taking. Seems to me that he broke more than one of those rules...
