Hope I've got right forum. Bit awkward to google my question.

Anyway, I got net coming thru' a cable to my pc, comes in on a dish on back of my house. My new iphone wants to use the net but is only picking up neighbours wi-fi which is locked.

    Is a wi-fi booster all I need?

Also, if there is un-limited d/l usage for the phone, does it conflict with my home pc usage, ie from provider (which is 20Gb/ month).
eg, I d/l 10Gb with my iphone (not likely), then I d/l 15Gb with pc is that 25Gb?

    Hope I explained clear enough.

    Thanks,

    Kev

You need a Wifi router, that's all.

Everything that comes over the Internet connection is "download". It doesn't matter what you use, if it comes through the modem, then it's using your allowance.

    Thanks for quick reply.

I guess my phones unlimited d/l usage takes into account wi-fi hotspots, ie, airports, coffee shops etc.

    I'll get a router so. :D

Your phone is separate from your broadband. One has no bearing on the other.
