With drawing the maps the main thing is to make them as clear and precise as possible. I would give a page to the map, about 3/4 for the map then u have room for the key/title etc. Theres no way they can ask for a to scale map of ire, u only have 8 min to answer the q! make sure to answer on graph paper however if they ask for that- 2marks in the bag for tht!
Best thing you can do now is practice drawing the maps now within the time limit, make sure to get the outlines/shape/locations of mts, rivers, cities right.
    Hope this helps:)

Exactly as repeatLC says. In the Regional Geography section, you won't be asked to draw a scaled map. Just do an outline taking up most of a page. One thing to be careful of though - Say the question asks you to draw a sketch map of a region - Read it carefully - does it ask for an outline of the whole country, with your studied region highlighted? If so, don't just draw The West of Ireland - draw all of Ireland (nice and big) with that region included. Marks going for title too.

The only time you have to draw anything to scale is in the Ordnance Survey section sketch map. It's generally half-scale they're looking for. So draw a sketch frame half and length and half the width of the original map.

    Good luck!
