    Can't find anything really online!
I haven't tried anything before so I don't know exactly what I'm looking for but confidence building and fitness is what I'm really looking for!
can anyone help? I'm quite shy and uncomfortable in these kind of situations so I really want somewhere thats for beginners, so I won't feel as stupid!
    Please help if you can!

    Thanks!

If your looking for striking then Carlow Thai would be perfect

Are you in the college? I used to teach Tae Kwon do in the college and found that 80% of people would be beginners in the college classes. Just join any martial art in the college and you'll fit in :)

    Otherwise I'd recommend These guys

They teach wing chun kung fu, its a very versatile martial art and they do alot of beginners classes.

I'd go with the wing chun club linked above. I'm not a part of that school but wing chun is a great self defense art :)

EDIT: I just realised this thread is over a week old. My apologies :P

+1 for Carlow Thai, I attended a seminar down there a while ago and they have a very nice club setup, friendly crowd too.

Hi guys, thanks for all that info, I'll check both out! They both look interesting! I'm quite shy, hence the fact I'm looking for somewhere beginner friendly!
Sorry forgot to add, I'm not in college!
