Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

My brother closed our electricity account in April. We got a letter dated 28th April saying that "sorry you are leaving etc...) On the 3rd May we got the bill statement from ESB saying that we are in credit of €50.

Now how do we get this money back? We usually pay it in the post ofice every week.

My brother switched to Airtricity but I am very wary of them especially after reading all the comments. We were with Bord Gais too but have closed that account also. Can you explain more about the Super Savings? And is it too late for us to change back to ESB again?

    Hi donegalgirl28,
Now how do we get this money back? We usually pay it in the post ofice every week.

If the account is in your own name, then just PM me the details and I can organise a full refund. Otherwise, the account holder would need to call 1850 372 372, or email a request for the refund.
Can you explain more about the Super Savings?

Our Supersaver price plan offers a discount of up to 14% for electricity only customers, and up to 17% for dual fuel (electricity and gas) customers. If you are switching back from another supplier, you would need to set up your account via direct debit to activate the full range of savings on offer. Further information, including the relevant Ts&Cs, can be found online here.

For more details specific to your own account, it would be best to PM me, and I can set you up on what would be most suitable.
And is it too late for us to change back to ESB again?

    Not at all. :)

    Thanks,

    David.
