zoom in out, arcade modes, 360 modes, arrange modes, black label modes. There is a lot too them.

Yeah ordered it not so long ago on play-asia. When I'll actually receive it is another issue, never using EMS with them fcuks again - always get stung with a Fedex invoice afterwards.

Yes most or all of them have excellent settings to switch the display to vertical, get rid of the wallpaper crap and the like. One thing I really like about them that the PCBs can't do is save replays. Great feature that.

Do you mean a 360 setup with Cave shmups? You'd need a modded 360 (no point getting a Jap one), Touchingvirus your man on the modding front. Once you get one of them then it's up to you how you obtain the games themselves. With a modded 360 you can run them off the harddrive rather than disc - you don't want to be mucking about opening up the cab to swap discs about.

Ideally you should also get yourself some 360 padhacks, HarumaN over on AO does them. Based in the US, he can buy the pads for you, hack them and ship them back. You then wire them to whatever connections the E2 has.

Or just use a pad/stick connected to the 360 like normal.

Might be a bit more hassle than Im willing to do at the moment,
I'd have to get the 360 running at 15k for the e2.
Or run the blast tate and go hi rez
and turn the E2 hori

ahhhh first world problems at there finest

If you don't already have a 360 that can be modded, then yeah you're talking about a few hundred quid to get one, get it modded, get pad hacks. Get a few more items if you want to run it low res.

Anyone read through the Sturmwind email update about postage details?

Shipping methods:
All pre-orders have been chosen (and calculated) with the standard 2nd class shipping method. It does not offer insurance nor tracking number. If the parcel is lost, we can not send replacements due to the limited quantities of Sturmwind.
This means, your pre-order of Sturmwind does not have any tracking nor insurance so far and therefore there are high risks of damage. This applies to all destinations and both Sturmwind editions (Limited Edition "Windstärke 12" is very fragile freight).

Talk about trying to scare people into insured postage! :eek:

My LE arrived about 5 mins ago. The model ship is actual a lot better than people are making it out to be I reckon.

I love the little magnetic snap shut case too. No need to worry about damage either. Mine was shipped in a cardboard box and in about 900 jillion layers of bubble wrap.

The controls are grand, but on the options screen they are written out wrong for different settings. Type A buttons are backwards etc.

They had 7 years or so to spot that haha!
