Data Flow Diagram

    According to some literature I have read, a data flow diagram does not specify who carries out an action, when the action is carried out or how long it will take.

    My project is about developing an information system and I would like to include a DFD. However, the diagram should also include a 'who' part (And perhaps 'when'). Are there any appropriate models / diagrams that people can advice would be approriate?
