Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Am thinking of buying a bike.Something like this.Could this be a genuine Muddyfox,or is it a fake?.I always thought they were a fairly dear bike.
Am a bit suspitious of the price.
Are they any good.Ye or Ne ?

The company was bought in 2001 by Universal cycles I think. There was another brand called silver fox which were cheap "look-a-likes". Looks like Universal kept the name and started making crap bikes with it.

Used to have a Muddy Fox, the bike in that picture is a different kettle of fish.

its a BSO. Save your money and up you budget a bit. A bike like that would break your heart if you were putting up any more than 10km a week, dont think of taking it off road, it just wouldn't take the abuse.

A guy I know has a silver fox, bloody thing is a death trap imo

The first link is your bike there... http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-9033.aspx

The original ones were some of the first mountain bikes to have a wishbone seat-stay, very cool at the time.
