Drogheda - night club/late bar for a hen party?

    Organising a hen party in Drogheda and wondering if anyone has any advice on where to go out dancing later - i know there's a couple of nightclubs and have been heard that some can be a bit dodgy ... if anyone has any thoughts/advice it'd be appreciated!

    Also would consider late bars if there are any good ones that would tolerate a bit of dancing!

    Apologies just came across this thread that probably answers it - but if anyone has more up to date info (eg if any of the clubs are no longer there etc)

    earth is the main nightclub so that would probably be your best bet if you want to go dancing, it has a bar attached to it (bru) and that stays open late enough so you can stay in the bar for as long as you's want and then just head down the stairs into the nightclub

    Bru isn't attached to Earth nightclub. Baroccos is. (Westcourt Hotel)

    Bru is located 100 metres from Earth nightclub (bottom of Stockwell Street).

    The Earth is the best nightclub in Drogheda but unless you go to Baroccos, you would be facing a hefty queue if you arrived at the usual time. Baroccos is a nice bar, it's been recently done up (inside and out) and a decent place to have some fun.

    There isn't really anywhere else that suits, unless you travel to Newry (30 mins up the M1)

    Westcourt and then earth are possibly the best places to be. (same thing.) Was there a few weeks back ans there were 3 hens parties in there (I was a very isolated Y chromasone indeed.)

    earth these days is very busy, noisy, and generally a great club.

    anywhere but storm nightclub :rolleyes: and ive yet to go to earth (or walk by it on opening hours) and not seen a fight, i know its a nightclub and thats to be exspected sometimes but not as frequenly as i see there
