i have recently run out of everything and right now would kill to have some bird eye chillis, onions and ginger in the fridge.... 3 ingrediants/herbs/spices you couldnt live without?

OK - going to be a little greedy here and go for 5 ingredients.

The first 3 are basic - onions, garlic and chillis.

My fourth are limes. I go through bags every week, squeezed over grilled meat, in cocktails and in salad dressings. So so tasty.

My fifth are salt flakes. These add an extra dimension when sprinkled ove grilled meats and salads.

Mushrooms,Peppers and onions. They seem to be the basis of most of my meals from casseroles to stir frys!
