Drive-Thru causing increased traffic near National Schools? Don't know, just a guess.

Just thought it was strange especially because the top of new street at McD's is one way now so it wouldnt be terrible.
I know that there is quite often very bad traffic there anyway, but if your going through the drive through you probably would have gone inside so it shouldn't put too many extra cars in the area.

Thought maybe there was a reason i was missing.

    Third Party Submissions
There are 14 letters of objection on the file. The objections are from Cllrs Malcolm Noonan and Joe Malone, from residents of Coote’s Lane and Father Walshe Close (one submission has 18 signatures) and from a neighbouring business. The principal concerns raised in the submissions relate to the generation of additional traffic in the area, subsequent congestion and traffic hazard, inadequate car parking provision, impact on residential amenities of the area, additional noise, legal issues pertaining to ownership of the car park and the relationship between the development with the Mobility Management Plan for Kilkenny.
