Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    well lads,

was wondering what is the proper procedure for tailpainting cows...

should it be done once a week, once a month...?

or should it be done before insemination and again after insemination incase of a repeat....

    thanks....

Ideally start a month before start of breeding, and just keep it topped up until shes pasted or scanned incalf. Some change colours after serving, I don't, I have a chart up so can see whats going on there.

I just use emulsion paint and paint a stripe 10' x 3 along tailhead area.

jeff has it exactly. plan is to keep it on them constantly.
Used emulsion too for a few years but this year went for FIL tailpaint and find it brilliant but its more expensive, think about 13 euro/bottle which will do 50 cows
