Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi friends,

I want to give my next door neighbours a wee gift. I was thinking of a photo printed and framed. Took this in their garden recently.

What's wrong with it? Can it be improved before printing? ....or is it simply a pile of crape? be honest!

    I like it.

I'm not mad about it sorry. I think it's slightly over-exposed losing detail in the petals and the subject is too central IMO. Background seems a bit too dark also.

    Sorry! :)

yea, it does nothing for me, think I'll give this one a miss and try again.

Yeah, I was thinking the same as Kelly1 to be honest. There's no 'punch' to the photo, in my opinion.

Though that said, in my opinion/experience, white flowers are a pain in the ass. I'd consider going black and white (or photographing something red, blue, etc. in the garden instead if they have anything? white and yellow are awkward).

Again, all in my very limited experience.

there's no 'novelty' in it; it's just a straight up shot of a bunch of blossoms.
