recommendation for a cheap ass mp3 player

    hi folks

    the battery just calved on my ipod mini (1gen...it owed me nothing!) so I'm in the market for a brand new (or second hand) cheap ass bargain basement mp3 player.

    I've seen mp3 players for 10 and 20 quid on ebay, I dont mind spending another few bob would wouldnt see much need to spend any more than 50quid maybe

    I dont need to watch videos on it. I dont need any crappy propriety software (i'm looking at you itunes)

    I do want to be able to drag and drop files onto this gadget. I had installed rockbox on the ol ipod and never looked back.

    I do want 4GB or more or possibly something that carries small onboard memory but accepts a micro sd card or somethin.

    so anyone got any recommendations for somethin nifty under 50quid?

    just found another thread recommending the sansa clip. looks to fit the bill. any other suggestions?

    Clip+ meets all your needs.
    MicroSD slot, rockbox. You won't be disappointed. Unless you mange to lose it coz it's that small!
