    Maybe some people would be comfortable doing that. I certainly would not, it's nothing to do with hindsight. In a strange environment, you err on the side of caution, you don't trust your children will be safe on their own.

    I actually used to think that as well.. that she had been killed in an accident and they panicked and the parents said she was taken.. but I dont think they had the wherewithal to actually get away with it even if that had happened, given they were in a foreign hotel, in a foreign country etc etc..

    They have their story down to a T, usuaully when something traumatic happens its a complte blur, everything happens so fast.

    The shutter theory has been dismissed by the police though - why hasn;t Tubridy done his homework? At least ask FFS
    Also the phone call to police - the log times they say are different to the hotel and the poilice!
    Tubridy is excrutiatingly ****.

    Agreed, on any holiday I've taken, I've always paid for a babysitter to come along. They get a holiday out of it, and I get a few beers in peace.

    They're a bit older now, but I still wouldn't dream of trusting to hotel staff, good and all as they may be. I wouldn't do it at home either.
