Sorry if there isn't the right place for this, but just saw it on Alter Bridge's offical Facebook page:
Just found out that we will be playing in a country that we have never been to before as Alter Bridge in June. Hint... Western Europe. We will announce the show as soon as it is confirmed.

Could that possibly be here in good ol' Ireland? Have they played the UK before? If they havent then I guess it will prob be a UK Festival :(

They are playing Download but I think they have played the UK a number of times before. They have also been recently announced for Sonisphere switzerland so no idea if that was it!
    Would be good though!

Myles put on a great performance even though he had the flu last june when he as lead singer with slash in vicar street.

Could be an Alter Bridge Show in the Olympia or Vicar Street or even The Marquee in Cork. Maybe there supporting Bon Jovi.

Would love this to be true, one of my favourite bands that I've never had the chance to see. Myles was great with Slash in June.

"Sorry, but our hint on the concert we gave was wrong. It will be in Eastern Europe. Got the directions mixed up!"

    LOL

With the recording of their new album 'Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea' complete, Black Stone Cherry could be hitting the road with Alter Bridge for a string of co-headline UK shows later this year.

The rumoured new shows will no doubt see Kentucky's Black Stone Cherry, comprised of vocalist Chris Robertson, guitarist Ben Wells, bassist Jon Lawhon and drummer John Fred Young, promoting new third studio album 'Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea' following its release later this month on 30th May.

Black Stone Cherry are a band adept at creating both timeless rock 'n' roll and new, innovative sounds. While the band's 2008 record, 'Folklore And Superstition', was a compelling tribute to brotherhood and history, the new album is the summation of a year in the life of the band — every emotion, triumph, loss, romance and everything in between — it's all there on 'Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea'.

Check out the video for the new album's lead single 'White Trash Millionaire' below

Touring alongside fellow hard-rockers Alter Bridge, this double-header is definitely not to be missed.

Formed in Orlando 2004 after the very public collapse of Creed, Alter Bridge is made up of former Creed members and vocalist Myles Kennedy, who you may have seen performing live with Slash on the former Guns N' Roses guitarist's recent tour.

Releasing their third studio album last October, 'AB III' is a departure from the band's first two albums for several reasons, the primary reason being that it is a loose concept album, a first for Alter Bridge, with lyrical themes of mostly struggling with faith. It is more dynamic and progressive, musically, and it features lyrics that are much darker than the lyrics on the band's previous albums. The album is also the first Alter Bridge album to be released on Roadrunner Records.

Dates are yet to be announced for the Black Stone Cherry and Alter Bridge double-header but it is expected that a UK arena tour is on the cards for later this year.

Check back to Stereoboard for more details on Black Stone Cherry and Alter Bridge co-headline UK arena tour dates as soon as they are announced.

I still think they will skip us on the tour, we will prob get BSC on their own in the Academy but no AB. Altough with Myles back with Slash at Oxegen maybe he will decide to bring AB over here
