North Tipp, while there may not be a wall between us or any official border. Us southerners don't sleep with our cousins.

I think it's quicker to list the counties I *have* been to...

all the counties or Ulster except Cavan and Monaghan,

    Louth, Meath, Westmeath, Dublin, Offaly...

    Clare, Limerick...

Good Lord, I'm better travelled than I thought.

Lietrim cant see the point to be honest. That is if it is a real place.

Its a little known fact that Leitrim is in fact a downmarket suburb of Tir Na Nog and as such can only be accessed one every three hundred years.

It's economy was decimated by the housing crash.....ghost estates everywhere :pac:

    Nope. :D

And 2 years ago I celebrated in Carrick on Shannon, Co Leitrim, because after 7 pints of Heineken there, I had officially been pissed in 32 counties.

I don't think I've been in most of them. I've spent more than a day in only a handful, Galway, Kerry, Cork, Wedford, Fermanagh, Kildare, Dublin. Travel between the above and Wicklow accounts for however more, but purely travelling through and the odd stop for food.
Oh, and whatever county Belfast is in.

I keep missing out Dublin! Never been there. Old ingrained bias I think:p but have promised myself that next year we will catch a rugby match there.

I really want to go and do the whole tourist thing and see the sights, any suggestions where to stay?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 81,220 ✭✭✭✭biko

I haven't been to Waterford yet but have been in the other 31 counties.
