Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tv as monitor.

I recently replaced my monitor with my TV. I did this to reduce space in my room.

But the problem I have is the picture from my PC is terrible. I have a 19" HD ready tv yet the picture is blurry and sore on my eyes. Any suggestions on how I can improve the picture?

Make sure the output resolution of your PC is the same as the native resolution of the TV. Anything else will be blurry.

If you don't know the native resolution just try them all.

I've tried them all. No joy. Could it be my lead?

Max resolution on a "HD Ready" tv is around 1280x720, I can get my one to do 1360x768. In other words, pretty rubbish compared to most monitors. The only reason I use it is because the fact that it's a 40" tv makes up for the poor resolution. A 19" monitor would be far superior to a 19" HD ready tv

    Hope this helps

If the pc is connected to the tv by dvi port, make sure in the options on the tv, that the dvi port is set to PC or Game mode instead of DTV mode.

DTV mode makes mine look slightly less sharp and is hard on the eyes.

    Hope that helps.
