Does anyone know where I can get canes for my fruit bushes & strawberries?

Most garden centres or places like Woodies sell bamboo etc. Be sure to put some kind of cover on the top, say a lump of plasticene. Have had some close shaves while weeding and nearly got a cane in the eye once or twice. You can buy "proper" covers, but plasticene is cheaper and easier.

B&Q sell bamboo. All different lengths and quite cheap too. I got a pack of about 15 and 5 long the other day for about €4.

Plant some bamboo, in a few years you can cut your own stakes.
