It's complete rubbish from Arsenal. Booed off the pitch they deserve.

Ah finally the traditional Van Persie consolation goal. Was waiting for the ref to chalk it off.

I know they have every reason to be a subdued but the crowd could have done with making this sort of noise a bit earlier.

Yeah he had a good look at the ref after it went in.

    Wenger time too. :pac:

There were at least 4 minutes in the second half. Not expecting anything to be added for the sub in in jury time though. :pac:

Another minute of wasted time to be followed by a shot 25 yards over/wide.

I dont know what to say. The team's a joke and most importantly, SIMPLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH. anyone who cannot acknowledge that is, frankly, delusional.

im not having the "we got screwed by the ref" - ok a few dodgy decisions aside, we're just not up to it. i am sick to the back teeth of wenger going on, and on and ****ing on about this team's spirit, belief, mentality etc. absolute utter nonsense. it's abundantly clear this team has none of those qualities.

beyond a joke at this stage. pitiful and a limp ending to another overall hugely disappointing season.

looks like city will overtake us and we'll have a cl qualifier to deal with in august. pathetic

    Deserved win for Villa.

The United game aside we've been absolutely piss at home since February.

I only caught the last half hour, so I've no idea what went on earlier, but **** sake we were hard done by there. A perfectly good goal disallowed, Petrov, on a yellow completely scything down Song and no card given, Walcott's runs constantly being obstructed by Dunne and Luke Young. Grrr....

The first 15 minutes was bad enough to write off the whole performance as a steaming turd even considering the referee decisions.

There was a push in the back for the disallowed goal, so it was the correct decision. And Petrov got the ball in that challenge, I don't think it was even a free no matter a second yellow.

Didnt see the game thankfully, I stopped that a while ago. Was the ref really that bad?

Splendid result for the Villa lads. I reckoned Arsenal would come back into in the second due to Villa been well able to throw away 2-0 leads, but they didn't and the lads triumphed.

Oh Darren Bent, how I adore his ability to score goals. Shame the two lads who gave him his assists will be gone in the summer :(.

I didn't see any push, who dunnit, Chamakh?

And you can't win the ball by going through a players legs, which is what Petrov did. It's reckless, and usually worthy of a yellow card.

He'll still score goals. He always has done, regardless of the service.
