    I have to make up a hamper containing products from Kilkenny. Stuff either made in KK or food/drink associated with KK. Any ideas??

    Ones I can think of, fairly obvious most of them;

    -Any Avonmore Cheese or Butter
    -Smithwicks Ale
    -Callan Bacon/Ham
    -Countrystyle rashers/sausages
    -Milleven Jams etc

    Hi 1984baby
    As Captain pointed out the Trail Kilkenny Food trail would be your best bet. If you try Knockdrinna Farm Shop in Stoneyford they sell there home made cheese but also other produce from the members of the Food Trail. In KK city the Eurospar in Newpark Shopping centre sells a range of local KK produce including Goatsbridge Trout, Mileevan Honey, Highbank apple juice and syrup among other KK products. The Trail KK brochure can be picked up in the Tourist Office or downloaded here.
