Power Outage in City Center

    The power has gone in the city! The street lights and everything gone. Very eerie as it's just the sound of alarms going off on buildings.

    EDIT: Just been restored...

    That was so creepy. Alarms still going off like mad around my place. Wonder what triggered it?

    Just home from work, power gone out near Wellpark, Galway Shopping Centre, and west side of city too. Was weird driving home, junctions and roundabout were a free for all!

    I wonder what happened. The lights flickered here a few times but our power didn't go.

    Power went too in Cúirt, Gort and Dún na Coiribe...was really scary...place went black, phone and internet went too! All the house alrams went off and nobody knew the codes as they weren't given to us, had to go to reception to request them! They poor security guy had to run around turning them all off!

    lot of the street lights where gone in Salthill to town last night around 10 pm up to the power cut any one know what happen ....
    boss was like antichrist today , as was watching the golf , the last hole when power went out ..... no tv ......
