Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We have a competition with a €250 One4All Gift Card up for grabs for one Boards.ie member.
It's to let you know about the TOP Oil amateur photographic Competition.
TOP Oil are calling on budding photography enthusiasts to get snapping and enter the TOP Photo Competition.
This annual initiative held by TOP, one of Ireland’s leading fuel importers, aims to find 12 winning pictures for the TOP 2012 Calendar.
The winning shots will be chosen by Lili Forberg and printed in the 2012 calendar, with 40,000 copies being printed and distributed throughout Ireland.
To enter the TOP Photo Competition, simply upload your potential winning shots to the TOP competition website www.topphotocompetition.ie/

Closing date for that competition is 31st May 2011.
Entry to winning the €250 One4All voucher is simple. Just upload a photo of yours that is somehow related to the word "TOP". Just upload and post below and let us know how you feel it relates.
PLUS, if you've taken the photo in Ireland, it's also eligible to win the other competition if you want to enter it there!

Copyright of the photo will remain with you and we won't use it for any promotional activity (Facebook or Twitter) without your written permission. You do not have to enter the TOP Oil competition to enter. Only one photo per member will be eligible and the winner will be chosen by Darragh, Dav and one other from Boards.ie on Wednesday, May 25th.

Well, according to The Beatles, 'all you need is love', so, if that's the case, then I most certainly am
This photo was actually taken with my very modest Sony Cybershot. I love it because I can't actually play cards, so, I just decided to take photos of them instead :rolleyes:
This is also two cards layered on top of eachother making it look like one full heart with the number '2' beside it. Slightly soppy, but, I like it

The competition is open to amateur photographers only being those not deriving any source of income from the submission of photography work and is subject to the terms and conditions set out in this document. Entry into the competition implies acceptance of these rules."
So any amateur who has sold a print, say at People's Photography can't take part?

I suppose if you want to be pedantic-
...source of income from the submission of photography.
So if you've sold a photo or two through your website or the People's Photography that's not submission of photography....0 -
