    Was just wondering what would be the closest swimming pool to athenry that would have public swimming hours? I live right around the corner from the Raheen and I can use that pool but unless my sons a paid member (which Im refusing to pay for as hes 8!) . So is there any other pool, oranmore etc that would have more public access?

    The only one I know of is kilcornan pool in clarinbridge. The hours are very limited though. You'd need to call and ask when it's open to the public.

    Have you tried the kingfisher in Renmore, they do public opening hours.
