When rents are advertised say at €600. How much could they be talked down. I realise that every individual landlord is differnt and the qualuty and location would be factored into and negotiation.

I have a friend that rented his house out. He advertised €600 and the tenant said he would give €550 which was accepted. Is this the norm. Is 10% about right to ask for.
