Porto will run away with this on the second half. They always come out possessed in second halves of games, Villas Boas must give great HT team talks.

Braga certainly are defensive. All 11 men on the line for that freekick.

They didn't stop banging on about the 'alternative camera angles' available online in the build up.

    Any use?

Not a thing wrong with that challenge from Viana. Might as well make football a non-contact sport the way it's going.

Shíte, they take too long to load so you miss the action by switching

2nd yellow. They won't like him when he's angry.

EDIT: Tuned in Channel 5, and David Pleat is there. Grief. Still better than the other 2.

Pretty crap. It is mostly the camera hovering over the pitch and sometimes the same angles as normal coverage. Now it is a camera on Phil Babb and nothing on the pitch.

    Absolutely ****e

Christ on a bike, Braga are so anti-football. That said Porto have to take some blame, they could up the pace and commit fully but are scared to leave a gap. I note they are not playing a very high line tonight.

One of the best headerers of a football I've seen in years that chap.

Wonder will Braga persist with this much longer?

Well deserved, Porto are the only side who've tried to play football so far. Hopefully they get a few more in the 2nd half!

Maybe Delaney will realise what a good atmosphere is like.

Fantastic goal! Lansdowne lookin' just as good. Great night for the stadium, I didn't know it beat Emirates to the right to host this match. Lovely.

Also, Sounded like Porto brought their stadium announcer along for the match. It sounded great when he was roaring into the mic after the goal.

It didnt beat it really, Wembley got the Champions League final and the same country cannot host both, so the Aviva "Dublin Arena" automatically got it

Dublin Arena.. Aviva.. I'll never refer to it as either. It's always going to be the new Lansdowne in my books.

Automatically? I doubt that. Surely there were other grounds looking to host this match.

It didn't beat it. It's hard to beat a stadium that was built to almost the exact same specifications as yours with the minor exceptions that it didn't end up as a lob-sided mess with 10,000 fewer seats.

I'm just happy the Portuguese knew where to go!

I call it Lansdowne, but I was eluding to how Channel 5 have called it the Dublin Arena,

Aviva won't be too happy, the biggest game and crowd I've seen there for football, and I haven't seen or heard much about them!

Yeah Braga should attack them from the off and lose 3-0. Cheek of them altogether sure.

Just out from under your rock? :pac:

It's being called Dublin Arena tonight because sponsors aren't allowed. Aviva can't do anything about it.

You must be joking me if you were refering to the tackle for his yellow. Definite foul, from behind and late. Bad tackle.
