. Look why did you not protest and what is your excuse? Nobody is telling you to do anything so relax. Your reason for your annoyance is laughable, like a child getting annoyed after being disciplined. Stick to the post or troll elsewhere.

Why did you do nothing but complain on boards that nobody did nothing, while a march of 50000plus people walked the strets of Dublin. At least get your facts right before you start a thread.

Celtic cub everyone else to blame attitude stinks.

Yawn!Again what exactly did you do?! Nothing, so come down off your high horse and explain how you have a moral authority over who makes statements about demonstrations.

If you can't defend yourself and rehash stale generic statements, then you should you start your own protest by not contributing to this thread again!

The British always managed to drive people into the arms of the IRA and other groups,

Thank God I left Ireland over 30 years ago, reading through this thread I am wondering are their any Irishmen still there,You are all worried about a protest with less then 200 people...
Who’s worried? That a bunch of morons would use this as an excuse to chuck stuff at Gardaí was entirely predictable.

The back lash will be increased violence. There are a lot of angry people out there. You may not like that, but that doesn't make it go away.

And you think that's justified? You think if the Queen hadn't come, those future violent events wouldn't happen?

Fair enough Denerick, I can't prove or disprove what you are saying.

I'll try not to say 'I told you so' when these 'non existent' people manage to pull off the chaos and slaughter they are no doubt intent on creating.
That sounds awfully close to cheer leading to me.

Happyman42's posts display an emptyness of thought that the peace process consigned to the dustbin of history.
Cheerleading a tiny minority albeit with sometimes a we've seen it before pretence of I don't agree with them,is all see through apologism to me.
Frankly it's disgusting and anti Irish.

    Sorry, but that's a cop-out.

If anyone has evidence of crimes they should report them to the Gardai in order to get rid of thugs.

Of course that's not the first time we've had to point that out to SF.
Considering the large number of tribunals on corruption and browne envelops, alas there might not have been too much legislation at the time, what is Fianna Fail & Fine Gaels excuse for not shopping their TD's & Councillors? They had no problems scoring on the political front by running to the journalists first. where are the reports of members of provisonal sinn fein involved?i thought this was eirigi & 32 county.sure sf have seats to protect to be getting involved in that crap protests

Thank God I left Ireland over 30 years ago, reading through this thread I am wondering are their any Irishmen still there,You are all worried about a protest with less then 200 people,I remember a protest we had against taxes in the Seventies when almost a million people protested or on Bloody Sunday when we stopped the city with over a Million Marchers.I think the national anthem should be changed to GOD SAVE IRELAND because none of you lot will save it.
oh don't worry. the ifa and old age pensioners still know who to effectively protest. there's little point in protest when you have people like eirigi ready to hijack it into a riot and cops happy to hammer easy targets.look at last years student protests and corrib oil

I've deleted a series of posts made by two forum members today which amounted to little more than schoolyard silliness. If you're one of the two, please learn to post usefully.

    I hold my hands up.

I was one of those who got involved in a petty arguement. Apoligies if anyone was offended.
