    Hi guys

My GF is looking for a replacement TEFL Certiciate as she has lost hers

She rang up to get one and get this... they said it was €150 for a new one

She said she doesnt want to do the course again, and she just needs a photocopy and could they fax this to her instead.... Yes, this is also €150 to get this

Any advice on how to a copy of the Cert without paying this ridiculous fee?

In her case I would borrow one and make a copy with her name on it. This would not be forgery in my view as she is a certified TEFL teacher. Paying €150 would be compliance in extortion, which is much more serious.

Otherwise, try the forums on http://www.tefl.net/talk/ explaining the situation, naming and shaming the institute if needs be.

    Thanks for that

Apparently there are 22 years of files, and they have to pay someone to go and find it, and thats why its expensive
