Mary McAleese has done a great job of promoting Irish fashion designers in the last couple of days.

The food may be poisoned, which would wipe out the Queen, the British PM, the President and the Taoiseach. I wonder what security is in place for that.

Obama will not be having a pint or eating anything here. He can only eat/drink stuff prepared by his own team.

Bloody hell do you swing an invite to this?

I wonder if Joe Higgins is there to present her with her bill for food and lodgings?

I hope these immensely rich people are touched by the eagerness to please displayed by the peasants of Ireland as we prepare to shoulder the full burden of British banks debt.
Let's hope we just slip back into abject poverty and that the country doesn't entirely collapse.

You can't touch royalty. You can only shake their hand if they offer their hand first.

Philip just got snubbed for a handshake, would love it if they had a microphone next to him for that one!

Successful brown nosers, chancers, ne'er do wells, politicians, the rich, mates, cousins, in-laws.....collectively known as the "great and the good".

I was thinking that when I was watching Christy Cooney? guiding the Queen by her elbow today in Croagh Park!

i also thought that shoulderless outfits were not respectful....I think they said that at the wedding?

It's a form of torture to make an 85 year old woman stand for so long and for no real reason. She is hardly going to remember meeting these people.

    Great day.

The elite mix with royalty and hobnob with their political connections.

There is just something so wrong about all this.
