It'll do I suppose, but I'm still holding out for better at the English Market. :D

My favourite is when he was at a reception at the Palace one evening and the Nigerian High Commissioner was introduced- wearing traditional garb.

"You look like you are ready for bed, my man"

Or when he asked a bunch of Aborigines if they were still throwing spears at each other.

or when he asked a scottish driving instructor how he kept the natives off the booze long enough for them to pass the test.

    Any protests in Cork?

    Any Corkonians know?

So protests? No, not quite. A slightly better welcome in cork than there was in Dublin. So far anyway.

Why ? They certainly don't appear to be making eejits of themselves!

Unless "jackeen" has another meaning that I didn't know about, based on the Union Jack, perhaps ?

Cork, stand back and take a bow, it looks fantastic down there.

Saving the best to last I think.

I hope she gets to meet the trader who insists on keeping his stock in the dark as he things light makes food go off. He's a legend.

Glad she's gonna get a good reception

Schoolkids lining Grand Parade are screaming with excitement as the motorcade approaches. Bless! Proper Irish welcome. Well done Cork.

There will be a sigh of relief when i see her stepping on that plane and flying off into the distance. Ive enjoyed the week but please get her into the market, carpet bomb everything along the line of the road to the airport, get her off to the airport and let her fly off safe and well :D

I never expected trouble in Cork, but I'd say she's all the more welcome from her actions earlier in the week.

It did look fantastically better than the sterility of the scenes from Dublin on day one. Not down to the Dublin people mind - more so the minority making threats.

It looks really weird and surreal to see her walking around the market, she's looking at the fish bit now, I always hated the smell in that part.
