    True, heard somewhere recently she did something like 500 official engagements last year. The average was about 1.5 a day. Actually shocked me that. Goes to show all the muppets who like to imagine them sitting around scratching their arses and spending money non-stop.

    What does the Queen do with all these 'gifts' she gets. She must get given dozens of them, each time she visits a city and most if it is useless tatt and trinkets, can't exactly stick 'em up on eBay.

    I'd say where possible they're probably given to charity.

    I'd be quite disappointed if I saw a hurley stick from a 'philthegreek' on there in the next week or so. :D

    All in all a wonderful visit. I am delighted at the warm welcome Her Majesty received and I am so proud to be Irish this week.

    She definitely got a whiff of the English Market earlier, no amount of fresh paint could cover up that stench of fish!
