    Kelvin Busher releases his long awaited debut album ‘Vintage’ Upstairs at Kellys Bar on Thursday the Second of June at 9pm.

    The album is the result of Five years of work by Busher and was recorded in three studios, Namely Shay Studios, Loughrea, The Forge, Galway city and Vicar st studio in Dublin.

    The album contains eleven tracks and features a stellar lineup of musicians from a many different musical back grounds. On Drums from London is Jazz drummer Tom Hooper. Electric guitars were performed by Dublin based Conor Brady best known for his work with Gerry fish and the mug bug club and The Commitments.

    The songs Everybody feels alone and caught between are giving the big band feel by Pat Corless and Stefano who make up the Vintage Horn section, both from the Black Magic Big Band. San Salvador and Find it in your heart feature Well known Irish accordionist Sharon Shannon.

    Niall Teague who is making waves at the moment in both Ireland and the UK with his own band ‘ Niall Teague and the Fast Company plays piano and organ. His piano playing is an integral part of the album sound. Kelvin will also be joined on the night by a string quartet.

    The album was Mixed by Ray Diamond at the forge and Mastered by Bob Katz in Florida. For a taster of what the launch show will be like you can view a video for the song
