You get about 8ft of railing on St Stephens Green to display your photos. Your choice. No review by committee beforehand.

So, how much did it cost to participate last year roughly? Like printing, framing etc... If you don't mind me asking.

It's a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' question.

I didn't do it last year, but from the previous year, I'd suggest not spending a fortune. I reckon print and mount maybe a dozen images that you like, that you'll be happy to take home. I wouldn't frame anything, too expensive and hard to hang safely on the railings.

But how'd you support the photos if they weren't framed ?

I don't have a fortune to spend anyway so the cheapest way possible but still quality would be how I'd go. That's why I'm hoping I get a place in SineadW's printing workshop so I'll be able to print myself.

Mount them in cardboard mounts. This is my setup from 2 years ago:



Steve (stcstc) is a boardsie from 360-dpi.com. They supply mounts. I've also used my local framer here. Probably a good idea to put cheap backing boards on and put the finished article in a display bag for weather/fingerprint mark protection.
