what should a FEMALE wear for a PhD interview?

    Hi there,
    I have a PhD interview for a PhD in immunology next week, the interview is in my current department.
    I have heard some mixed views about formal attire for science PhD interviews as you shouldn't confuse yourself with a business graduate.
    Would a simple black dress, cream blouse and black blazer be too formal.
    The interview requires a presentation as well so it is quite formal and I want to impress from the offset.
    Any advice is greatly appreciated.
