Does anyone know why Smyths on childers rd has been closed the past couple of days?. Notice in the window "closed until further notice"

It appears to be closed on Wednesdays.

Heard on the radio there was a fire at Smyths on Tuesday night

There was a fire Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Closed until further notice.

As others have said, a fire broke out. To add some details (from a conversation with one of the people inspecting the place on Wednesday), there was only minor damage and most of that was smoke damage.
