Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not a good start when the only confirmed guest is a band I've never heard of.

    this thread is famous

it's where about 50 random wits go every week to pull the piss out of the dlb - to be honest it's as good a way to spend a Friday night as any - IN!

Sure what else would you be doing, It's good auld craic.:)

This is the second last show of The Series.

Just as well - I'm running out of excuses for not going out on Friday Nights - 'I can't go out, I'm staying in to watch The Late Late Show' tends not to go down well with the unconverted.

I predict a tribute to the late Dr. Garrett Fitzgerald. I also reckon that there will be a panel of guests on to discuss the royal visit. (Paul Costelloe V's Neil Delmere Round 2 :D:D)

Its a pity the LLS doesn't assemble a line of guests as the show progresses, we could have Brigitte Nielsen commenting on the Royal visit and Garret Fitzgerald.

    talking about arnie
Arnie nah, he is so boring, just another politician who has been caught cheating. I reckon Brigette could tell a few interesting stories about being married to this lad though.

I'd say that he will keep Obama for the final show, otherwise he won't have enough material to fill both shows.

    No Jimmy, you're wrong ;):)

I hear the RTE dinnerladies got new uniforms recently and they will be making an appearance to show them off.

Here is a sneak preview of the uniforms for those of you who are too excited to wait for the LLS

Is Ryan unpopular because he gives the impression that he is a ruthless careerist? or is it because he gives the impression that he is slightly smug and an intellectual despite having not much real insight on anything of note?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,873 ✭✭✭Skid

Please God Spongebob and Elvis, Don't let The Corrigan Brothers be on tonight with that woeful song about Obama.

Yes a frightening thought, to hear that "live"

Even "Black Lace" in their hayday would have cringed at that song.

Reminds me of the famous image of a young, innocent looking Austrian, purported to have been taken at the announcement of hostilities in 1914.

    war14.jpg

It's only when seeing pictures like this that people realise that the evil monsters of tomorrow could have been stopped before they become too powerful.

I'm talking about the top one of course, the Hitler one is fake.

I doubt it, he has been happily re-married for a few years now. It might also be seen as insensitive in view of Amanda's recent bereavement.
