Have perfect evening in mind for going to dinner and then dancing (not raving niteclub, as do with friends every sat nite) old style dancing!

So a few qts for all - Does that exist in Dublin, is there such a place/nite? If so where and when?

If so will I be sharing the night with people my folks age or people my grandparents age...? I'm not hopeful enough to think they'll be my own age!

And am I pushing it to wonder if you could add 50s music to that mix?

    Can anyone advise?

Good timing, I got an invite today on Facebook for this.

It's on in the workmans club this tuesday and is supposedly a 'mad men inspired' 1950's dance! might be some way to what you're after just go for dinner somewhere else first all dressed up in your vintage duds, mind you vintage dressing is not essential to get into this. oh and a friend of mine was at one of these before and it's all ppl in their 20's and 30's so isn't an over 75's club in case you were wondering! ;)

This could also be an option...
Dublin City Jazz Orchestra plays at the Tivoli every Sunday.
    Here's their website:
