Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

looks like it's going to be stormy on Monday, but I'm going to head for the College Green event with my 550D and 70-200L.... does anyone have any info on the types of security restrictions that will be in place- will I be allowed to bring my daypack with camera, food and water (not that water'll be a problem) in to the event?

    Thanks

    Chris

I was told he'll be on at 6 (though can't remember where I heard that). Does that mean you've to stand there like a prat for hours of music?!

Can ye guys not get trotted in by security five minutes before he comes on? Wouldn't fancy waiting around for hours for him. Feck that for an effort.

I wish we could just arrive ahead of him, like we do for concerts ... in just before the act arrives on stage ...first 3 songs ...then out again.

Unfortunately for security reasons we get screened and "marshalled" around by Gardai .... we have no interactions with members of the public once we've been screened so we dont have any weapons on us.... same thing for the queen last week.

The bus we have has a garda escort which can be pretty cool - running red lights without thinking you might get caught and people looking at the bus to see if there's anyone famous on it .... kids waving !!

There was some mention on the radio earlier that among the list of banned items are 'bags' and 'suitcases'. How much of that category a camera bag will fall into I do not know. Just be forewarned if you are going in and bringing a bit of gear (in a bag. Or suitcase(?))

College Green is now full, so it's recommended not to travel up anymore.

i've heard it's nigh impossible to move anywhere in the south city centre at the moment.
